The are some really gorgeous examples of paper here. The book starts by giving detailed directions on how to handmake paper using a mold and deckle. If you don't already have a set, you can make a simple one from photo frames and nylon mesh. The other tools are easily obtainable. The book discusses making recycled paper from paper pulp and variations using plant fiber, as well as adding decorative elements using things like scraps of paper or confetti, color, the embedding and embossing techniques.

The second part of the book is devoted to projects using handmade paper. They include cards, stationery, several book forms made using varied binding methods. There is nothing new here if you're familiar with bookmaking and bookbinding (except the Star book which is more unusual), but the papers used are so beautiful there's a lot to admire here.
