The pace starts off slow but this is more a build-up to the story rather than a mistake by the author. While there are quite a few editing mistakes to the point of having to re-read sentences, I was entranced with the plot. It’s modern Cinderella meets Pretty Woman. Andy is the woman that almost all women can relate to. When things happen, it seems to happen all at once and it’s about to break the camels back. Yet she still maintains that determination and drive. She’s been knocked down and made jaded but she is an honest, refreshing character. Alex has that cocky confidence that only the rich can have. You’d hate him but this character trait only makes his fall all the more sweeter. The sex scenes between the two are passionate and so hot it leaves you panting.

It’s an easy, quick read but really kept my interest.
