A former bagman (the guy who collects protection money for the mob) reinvents himself as the Bagman, vigilante public servant. His identity hidden by a brown paper bag, the Bagman quickly becomes a thorn in the side of criminals and crooked cops in depression-era Chicago. Self-conscious "new" pulp.

Cloudwalker The Unknown Hero? (yeah, I know, dating myself here *^_^*)

Brick The entire idea of The Bagman was to create a hero who evolved. Volume One is the birth of a pulp hero. In Volume Two, the hero becomes legend. And, the soon to be released Volume Three, THE BUTCHER BACK OF THE YARDS (Set in Chicago's meat packing district), brings all this together to reveal our hero in a riveting tale of pulp noir. Things get dark.

Volume Three will also contain a bonus novelette and Ace Mechanic Crankshaft's first solo adventure! Seriously, check it out.
