it was amazing
bookshelves: classics, comic-books

As a victorian literature/ pulp fiction junkie this is one of those ideas that I wished I'd thought of.
Moore is able to take some really quite messed up characters and make them interesting and feel real. Hyde is a monster, but with a spark of tragedy.

The issue set on Mars was amazing, and I thought the rest of the story set on earth was great as well.
The travel logs were very dense and I loved all the hints to past Leagues.

Only gripe is this when the sex references started to creep in and take over. I like sex as much as the next guy, but Moore really seemed to revel in giving us all the gory, distasteful details and they don't really add much to the story.
