it was amazing

I loved this whole series by Liliana Hart. I'm definitely a new fan. I'm confused about the other reviewers who have complained about it being too short and too much sex. It says in the product description that it's a novella and it's listed in the erotica category.

Dane MacKenzie is coming home to Surrender, Montana after ten years. He had to escape the small town after his mother's tragic death, and he was too consumed with guilt and confusion to think about anything but getting away--including his lover at the time, Charlotte Munroe.

Dane had always loved Charlie but he knew they were too young to settle down and that if they didn't get out into the world they'd have made nothing of themselves and ended up going nowhere but Surrender. So Dane isn't surprised when his brothers tell him Charlotte (Charlie) has left town shortly after he did.

The last thing Dane expects to find when he comes back home is to find her back in town, the owner of the only mechanic shop in town. The sparks fly immediately between this couple and them getting together so quickly is believable because of their past history.

Dane thinks he's back in Charlotte's good graces, but he finds out differently after she leaves him as if nothing happened after they slept together. It's not until Dane's brothers fill him in that Charlie has a son that Dane realizes she'd left him to go home to her son. After Dane does a little math, he realizes the child can't belong to anyone but him.

This is a great intro into this series of novellas, which is obviously a setup for the full length novel that is coming out sometime next year. The chemistry and story was great in all 4 books, and I'd highly recommend them. And the sex is super HOT!
