There are no words to describe how ugly the monster was and no words could ever describe how horrible this load of shit was, how it has survived 200 years I will never fucking know: I HATE YOU MARY SHELLEY

Sam I'll give you credit...You have enough strength to get though with the whole thing. I didn't even finish the book I hated it so much, so you got balls for finishing it. Well at least I know what happens at the end now....On that note THAT IS THE STUPIDEST ENDING I HAVE EVER HEARD, where's the justice for the murdered why didn't the captain kill him I WOULD HAVE....I would have ranted for days about the ending if I read all of it, hell now that I know what happened I might still rant for days about it....

Brandon I loved it (I only have like two pages left) and I'm going to give it four stars.

In regards to the monster's description, that just gives you room to imagine what he looks like.

Xdyj I think what you mentioned is partly because this was written in the age of romanticism, when characters often do not think or act like normal people today. imho it survived partly because of its influence on later works & because it raised many important questions on specific social issues & human condition in general.
