really liked it
bookshelves: young-adult, dystopian-fiction
Read in August, 2011

I delayed reading this final book in the trilogy the last couple years just because. I shouldn't have because I forgot some details and remembered that I really like this series. It's not perfect, but the teenage characters are believable and Tally is sympathetic through all of her surgically induced personalities. I see Hunger Games' capitol riffed off of the free citizens in this book--I wonder why the theme of citizens doping crazy stuff to their bodies is apparently such an attention grabber.

Anyway, good action, good inner angst, good tough decisions in the world, and fairly satisfying ending. This is popcorn, but good popcorn.
