it was amazing
Read in January, 2006

If you've seen the movie, you owe it to yourself to give this a read. Yes, it's a comic, but it's the best kind of comic- one that uses the medium to it's fullest potential. The artwork is different and incredible, and the extremely limited color palette of more or less black, white, and a flat primary color really makes for some striking images. If you're at all interested in old-school film noir, this really exploits the genre for every detail and story beat and adds another dimension. Read it. Period.

Bethy Boo Frank Miller's understanding of negative space is amazing! You graphicy people probably eat that stuff for breakfast, but for me its desert!
