This was a cute book. Not the kind of iridescent prose that lingers in the memory, but fun. Lord Byron is a character (so is William Blake) and there are lots of Jane Austen references--including characters modeled after Mr. Collins and Lady Catherine from P&P and a character named Mary Crawford who turns out to be something of a gunslinger. Also--Luddites! That's Romanticist catnip right there.
