This is one of those sweet YA books that takes you back to the days of after school specials. Anna is a provincial from Atlanta, and she likes it that way. She likes her job at the mall movie theater, her almost-boyfriend who works there, and her cozy life with little brother Shaun. Then her dad, the pretentious best-selling author of cheesy books about love and dying of cancer, decides to send her to a fancy boarding school in Paris for her senior year of high school. She hates it, hates the French, hates the lack of peanut butter and junk food until she makes friends with the oh-so-yummy Etienne St. Clair. He's taken, but that doesn't stop her from dreaming!
Very fun and a quick read.
