I think I would have got more out of this book if I had a deeper knowledge of Freud and Jung. It was a fairly quick read, but I was never sure if I wasn't missing something in solving the murders. I enjoyed delving into early 20th century New York culture and society. Overall it was an okay read for me, but not one of my favourites.
