The only problem here is that the book was written, I believe, in the 70s, though this is a reissue. Because of this, some of the terms are inconsistent with contemporary usage, and it doesn't take into account what has been learned in the field in the intervening decades. Nonetheless, I would recommend it to anyone curious about the subject; I know of few books better suited to both the general reader and the specialist.]]>
