Poor Adrian. The hits just keep on coming. :(
I'm actually getting worried about RM. She's going a bit Stephanie Meyers when it comes to Dimitry. She can't seem to say a single bad word about him.
I'm not talking about the Strigoi thing. I mean his blatent betrayal of Adrian and then lying to Sydney at the end. He's never called out on any of it.
'I'm sorry, we didn't want to keep you in the dark, blah blah.'
'Oh, okay.'
That's about as far as it goes.
Hell, he never even apologises to Adrian (the guy that helped him escape in LS). He doesn't even show the tiniest bit of remorse.
What a douche. And yet he gets none-stop praise from everyone around him.
I'm really hoping he's not in The Indigo Spell because I'm not sure how much more I can take.
Basically, Dimitry is the only reason I didn't give this novel 5 stars.

There is no denying that Adrian suffered the betrayal of Rose and Dimitri :( But it's not fair to say that Dimitri felt no remorse. Knowing Dimitri he would have felt guilty in doing what he did but being the man that he is, he's not good with expressing this. He made a mistake and was wrong but that's not to say he is not the good person that he is.
