To be honest, I didn't really read this book, more like skimmed it. Although Henrietta's background and family are interesting, the biological blah - not so much. But that's just my personal preference; I mean, it's hard not to admire Skloot's dedication to this project, and the fact that a woman's cells changed the entire course of science and medical discovery continues to astound me.
