About 3/4 of the way through this book I decided to watch the movie... Bad idea. This was one of the worst book-turned-movies I've ever seen. All I wanted to do was curl up with the book and finish it the way it was meant to be.
That being said, I think that there were a few slow spots in the book. Anne Rice has always done such a great job with detail but sometimes pages can be filled with the description of one room. If you're a dialogue reader (like me) this can be hard to take and you may wind up skipping parts. Otherwise, I loved the book. The interaction between characters was great and I really liked the story of the Twins. I would definitely reccomend this book.
