** spoiler alert ** I loved this book! I read it in 4th grade (3years ago) and i still love reading it today! I learned a little italian from this book. i also learned that you can't always trust everyone, that people deserve a second chance, not to lie to your friends, and to respect each other. Rating this book 1-5 i give it a ten!
The book is about brothers Prosper "Prop" and Boniface "Bo". After their mother dies Prosper is sent to an orphanage while his cruel aunt and uncle Hartlieb adopt his little brother, Bo. The brothers decide to run away to the place they've always dreamed about, the city that deominated their mother's stories... Venice Italy. Once in Venice Prosper and Bo meet a mysterious boy called 'Thief Lord'. The thief lord leads them into his world of mischief and petty crimes.
