Read from April 27 to June 29, 2012

Based on her name, I thought this would be set in Italy, but instead I was introduced to France's royalty and history because she married into the French court. Very fascinating - and covers such a vast time period. The narrator really made this an outstanding book as her pronunciation of French is far superior to my bumblings.
