Here's what the book brought to the series ...

Yeahs ::

* Kitty goes back to Denver. That means a nasty confrontation with Carl and Meg is sure to happen. I've been waiting for this and it didn't disappoint.

* Rick is also back in Kitty's life. He's the only vampire I've liked in the series so far. He comes to Kitty for help.

* Ben and Kitty really start questioning whether or not this relationship is built out of comfort or do they really care for each other. This gets answered ... and I wasn't expecting this ending.

Nays ::

* There was a lot more slower moments in this book then the last ones. Out of all the books, I skimmed this one the most.

* Least favorite character addition - Mercedes. She was a terrible instigator/villain. She wasn't scary but she definitely was uninteresting.
