I quite enjoyed this book.

The heroine was painful though. When she showed up on her high horse I so badly wanted the baby to be anyone else's except Alex's. She was just so 'holier than thou', and so I thought she needed to be thrown from that horse. Quick, and fast. XD

I was really disturbed in the beginning though when Jenny put the baby capsule in the front passenger seat. Baby Safety 101: Baby capsule goes in the back.

I was also irritated at the fact that Jenny believed Alex was the baby's father simply on her sister's say so. I mean, did it never occur to her that if the baby truly was Alex's then her sister would have done something about it instead of simply "revealing" his name on her deathbed?

Also, her preconceived notions of Alex were irritating. Taken from page 1:

He'd never made a commitment in his life.

Uh. He took the Hippocratic Oath when he became a doctor. That's a commitment, right? XD

And she was also surprised that he was such a good doctor. Seriously, using common sense, you could figure that if he'd been a shitty doctor, he would have been hit up for malpractice or fired. So, I mean. God.

She started to get better though as she got to know him, and I was ecstatic to find that the baby, as he'd said all along, wasn't his, (although I do have quite a good idea of who the real father is), but I thought Jenny picked the coward's route by running. And then she ended up in an accident, which was a little over the top. XD

Alex was a great hero. One of those charming jerks XD But his sister Libby was a real nosy prat XD

Still, an enjoyable book, and I would read more from this author. 3/5
