I understand that most books dealing with war use some foul language, but starting the book with the "f" bomb on the first page was a real turn off. From other reviewers, I can see I'm not the only one who found the book depressing. I've read other books on war, but they've generally been recaps of real events without the addition of strong language. All war is depressing. I understand that. But I prefer my books toned down. However, I know there are other readers who like their books edgy, and this fits the bill.
