Buried In Print I've not yet read one of his, but have found myself picking them up more and more frequently of late...

Gavin Nesbo writes intense mystery/thrillers if you like that sort of thing. What holds me to these books, as well as to authors Henning Mankelland Arnaldur Indriðason, are the protagonists and their relationships to those around them.

Buried In Print That's what cements my following of a series like this too, so I'll add this one to my list. Any reservations about taking a chronological approach, or is it one of those where the first book or two is weaker/atypical?

Gavin I tend to read all series in chronological order if at all possible. Nesbo's books have been translated into English starting with #3, which is The Redbreast. I'd start with that one if you can:)
