really liked it

I am not ashamed to say I like Dean Koontz. When I want something easy, and fast, I pick up on of his books. Odd Thomas is a aptronym. He's as quirky and strange as his name suggests. A fry cook in California he lives a simple life with his beautiful girlfriend. And he sees dead people. They can't talk to him but they do try to communicate. When a mysterious stranger shows up in town Thomas finds himself trying to stop the unthinkable from happening. With cameo appearances by one of the most famous departed singers in the world, Odd Thomas is an engrossing, quick read. I found it better than the sequels. Well worth the read.
