really liked it
Read in January, 2009

It's an odd book with some pacing problems (slow in some areas, hard to keep up in others). Even so, the payoff was worth it for me, and I'd definitely be up for a second installment.

It does read very much like a humorous Lovecraft, but while the characters are humorous they do take the situations seriously so the horror part of the book isn't lost in the attempt.
