I loved this book. While I worry about women's rights in the U.S.--with funding to Planned Parenthood being cut, and with *Michele Bachmann* as the only female candidate running for president in 2012--I had no idea the extent of the atrocities women are experiencing around the world. How did I not know about the high percentage of young girls who are gang raped in the Congo? Or about all the fistula cases and need for fistula hospitals? This book made me aware of my ignorance and I'm grateful I discovered it.
