This was a fascinating approach at taking Ignatian philosophy and spirituality and applying it to real life, even outside the Church. The author looks at how the Spiritual Exercises and other writings of St Ignatius can help in work life, in family life, and even in trying to figure out what to do with life. He ties in other traditions--Zen buddhism, Judaism, and Islam, to name a few--to help show how these can apply even to people of other faiths. And he does it all with a sense of humour and style.

It's a great, accessible introduction to the philosophy and history of the Jesuits, and a look at what they have to teach all of us.
