Mommywood
by Tori Spelling
by Tori Spelling
I really enjoy Tori Spelling. She is pretty down to earth in a "Mommywood" sort of way and I loved to read all about her trials and tribulations as a mother and actress.
One thing that I have realized from this book, and other reality tv experiences, is that reality tv is not really reality. It's staged. Tori and Dean act a bit different on camera than they do in everyday life. It's a job and somebody has to bring home the bacon. I like their show anyway.
Now on to the food. Tori makes a famous red velvet cake. "My red velvet cake was ready on the counter, and I set about decorating it with white frosting, blueberries, and strawberries to make an American flag on top. I knew it would be the perfects combination of patriotic and delicious" (p. 128).
