This volume was much more to my liking than #2, with more entertaining developments for Tony. His new relationship with Amelia is cute, and Mason returns to the book with hilarious results. We get a bit more backstory on Tony's family life (which has some serious soap opera twists), and the whole thing ends on a nice double cliffhanger.
Again, this volume has more self contained adventures which I prefer for this series. Also it has more with Poyo, the planet's most badass chicken (who wears a luchadore mask!), who never fails to crack me up.
