Read from August 11 to 13, 2011, read count: 2

I rather enjoyed this book. It was sweet, heartbreaking and full of sexual tension. It's about this woman named Katie who renovates old homes and she buys this big, old Victorian home in Texas. In the garden is the statue of a nude warrior and she cannot keep her eyes off of him. One night she gives in and kisses the statue and he comes to life in her arms. Their personalities immediately clash he is used to the pliable women from his home planet and Katie is full of her own warrior spirit. But he only has 2 weeks before to have her fall in love with him or else he'll be turned back into stone, permanently. This book makes you want to believe in that type of love, where you're willing to sacrifice so much just to be with that person. It's a beautiful love story full of wit and charm and excitement. I definitely recommend it.
