Confession: This is not the type of book I would normally read at all. But it was a suggestion from my pen pal (Hi, Meredith!), so I gave it a shot. And I can totally see why people like this type of book. They're very silly and not necessarily well-written, but they're super quick reads, and they're somewhat addictive. I don't know that I'll read the rest of this series, as it got a little too sexy for my tastes, but I will probably check out some other historical romances that she suggested. Now I'm off to hide my face in shame, since my normal literary tastes are so refined. Obviously. Ahem.
