OK. Look at the book cover above. Robert Ludlum's Bourne Objective and then, in tiny letters, by Eric Van Lustbader. Yes. I did see that but it came with the expectation that it would be written in the same style, with the same verve and intensity of Robert Ludlum. It didn't take long however, to get bogged down in soggy character development and a confusing story that could never live up to Ludlum's tense and vivid writing.
About 150 pages in.....I am walking.
