it was amazing
bookshelves: humour
Read in August, 2011

The author uses a style all of his own in the short preramble in which the subject of sleep is discussed. Did you know it was invented by the Romans? These and other facts are gleefully imparted.
We are then launched into the book proper, and this is where the fun really begins! As mentioned, this is an original and amusing look at sleep. And look at it our author does! Each recommended sleeping position is demonstrated by a photographs a caption added and a humourous description of the benefits to be gained by sleeping thus. There were some very original ideas and outrageously funny claims! I couldn't wait to turn pages to see what our author had in store for us next, neither could I stop giggling.
This work is so unusual, I have to give five stars. It really is in a class of it's own, I applaud Mr Lander for his originality and his ability to allow full rein to a wonderful imagination.
