This is book 3 in the October Daye urban fantasy series featuring a half-fae private eye/knight in modern day San Francisco. This time the case is extremely personal - the wild hunt has stolen a whole bunch of children, including 3 from her best friend's family.

I love the pacing of this series. It's just right at revealing enough, but not too much too fast. I can't wait to read the next page, chapter, book. The characters are complex and interesting and the relationships have lots of depth. The stories can be rather dark. This has become a favorite series for me.
