I enjoyed this Christian Fiction novel set during the Great Depression. Perri has a privileged life in Atlanta until the stress of the Depression on her family changes her life forever. When Dobbs, the daughter of a poor, itinerant pastor, comes to town for the summer, she will challenge Perri's life and faith -- as well as those in her social group. And in turn, Dobbs will question her faith as she struggles with family secrets newly discovered. This is a tale of friendship at its best.
