Patterson has woven another intriguing tale here. Set in Florida and New York/New Jersey, this book follows Ned Kelly, a down-on-his-luck lifeguard through a several murders committed while he is trying to help four friends in an art heist. At the same time, he finds out his friends and his latest "love" interest are all murdered. He is accused of the murders and must clear his name. In the process, he meets up with an FBI agent (imagine) and together, they work to solve the murders.

Although there is some questionable content and language in this book, the story is very good. Lots of characters, but generally they are easy to keep straight. You will not believe the ending. But read it for yourself to find out whodunnit.
