it was amazing

The BEST Linda Howard novel of all-time. John Medina might be my favorite romance novel hero of all-time, too. He's super-intelligent, lethal, gorgeous, multi-talented, and did I mention gorgeous? He's a legendary CIA agent, the best of the best, and he lives his life in the shadows. The one temptation he can't avoid is Niema Burdock. As a heroine, I thought she was perfect for John. I love the scenes where he's training her for self-defense, while she's daydreaming about having an affair with him. John is extremely enigmatic throughout the book; he's one of the few LH heroes who's not constantly trying to have sex with the heroine. It's hard to describe how well-fleshed his character is, though we only really get to the tip of the iceberg. This is a MUST READ.
