faith fairchild #2, ah me, oh my.
i've discovered the "trick" into solving these ones quickly (i.e. within one page of being introduced to the murderer). the killer must be someone that faith has absolutely no suspicion of (not someone who gets dragged into jail under suspicion by someone else. i mean, someone who seems above suspicion). there will usually be 2-3 of these characters (who don't end up dead) by the middle of the book, so it should be fairly easy to pick out the real culprit. it's the one whose motive seems the least apparent.
no, really, that's the secret.
read it and tell me i'm wrong.

did you know this author lives in MA ? You must track her down... not in a stalker kind of way though.
