it was amazing

Here is an argument for having a house full of unread books. I found this in the pile, don't know where I got it, and had a more than wonderful time reading it. It's a satire, of course, of Soviet life in the 1920s and the wonder of it is that the author was allowed to survive. Funny? Yes, above all funny, and you don't have to know anything about "the new soviet man" to appreciate it. These new soviet men sound a lot like some characters we have running around today. It's a good book for dog lovers too, and even has a happy doggy ending although for a time it looks bad for the dog. Good lord, people, don't waste any time, you can get it for sure at Amazon, it's only 125 pages, and you will never throw it away.
