I think that this story is a very lovely piece of work by Shakespeare, who expresses each and every character very well. Throughout the play Shakespeare expresses the love and hatred between the different characters. He also differentiates between the two lifestyles of the people who are from the court and have experienced royalty just the way it is and the people who live in the country and spend a simple life as as a shepherd and not know about the proper behavior as a courtier would know. The love between Rosalind and Orlando is shown from the beginning itself when Rosalind realizes who Orlando actually is and immediately falls in love with him at first sight and so does Orlando. But when Celia's father realizes that Orlando is the son of Sir Rowland he begins to hate him and says that if he was the son of someone else, he would have preferred it a lot more. Celia helps Rosalind run away when she is banished by Celia's father. This shows the love that Celia has for her cousin Rosalind.
