I'm on the fence between 3 stars and 4 stars.

The story is told from the point of view of 3 thirtysomething women. Julia is a thirtysomething producer who has baby fever. Really, Julia got on my nerves at times; she seemed too self-centered to become a mother.

Maeve is a friend of a friend; she is independent and has no use for babies and marriage. She is all about her career.

Finally, Sam is Julia's best friend. She is at home with a baby and she is really miserable with her life.

This is a decent chick lit, but if you have a problem with cursing (particularly the word that causes movies to be rated R), you will probably want to avoid this book.
