I enjoyed this book the most out of books 1-3 so far. I have yet to read the rest...
While I don't think Garth Nix (what a name!) is a strong writer, he does imagine very interesting worlds that are different, in a refreshing way, from the typical fantasy-adventure stories. I think, in this book, Nix does a better job of bringing out Arthur's personality. Arthur and the Denizens somehow seem more three dimensional and engaging than they did in the previous two books..
All in all, a fun read, and I look forward to Sir Thursday, the next in the series.
