This was a story about a second generation of best friends in the South. There is Annie, Sarah, and Raylene daughters of the original Sweet Magnolias.

This first in a trilogy is focusing on Annie, a sport therapist who is also suffering from a broken heart and betrayal of her long-time love, Ty. Ty, a baseball player is back home due to a surgery on his pitching shoulder. He brings with him the sign of treachery, his precious son, Trevor.

Annie and Ty have good family and solid friends, that work to help heal the relationship in a manner I approved of, If it was in both Annie's and Ty's best interest. I really Thank Ms.Woods for this approach as to often, in life, matchmaking goes ahead without caring about both individuals.

The birth mother returns and trouble looms. Again, I appreciated how Ms. Woods drew the character and didn't automatically make her evil in our eyes.

All in all this book was wonderful as Romances go. I do recommend it to all romance enthusiasts.
