While I still enjoyed reading this Eve Dallas book, it wasn't as good as the last couple that I'd read. The story bounced around quite a bit, so it took awhile for me to get the thread of the plot. Plus I pegged "whodunnit" pretty early on, just because the whole set-up seemed convenient. And I have to admit, Peabody's brother did nothing for me... he was just kind of boring! Also, while I like when Eve and Roarke fight a bit, the extreme fight they had in this book just made me sad... even though I knew they'd make up by the end of the book. It wasn't until the last couple of chapters that the story got really interesting. Still obviously worth reading if you're into the series, it's just not one of my favorites.
