Head Rush is aptly titled. I'm still coming off from the high of this book, and this is a rough summary of how I feel: I want to suck all the sentences, the words, the characters off the page into a syringe, and then inject it into my veins. Maybe my expectations aren't high now thanks to My Blood Approves, but Head Rush feels awful good next to that trash. It doesn't even bother me how neurotic Justine is. She's one of the better heroines I've read. And Packard. Wow. Talk about extreme character arcs. I enjoyed the arcs. Despite the 180-degree change, I still find it believable.
I will be looking forward to more Carolyn Crane.
