bookshelves: history, audiobooks

This is reasonably well-written but I knew too many of the early stories and sort of tuned out the audiobook for a while. I liked the 20th century better which is unusual for me. I liked that she explored the hygiene issues that some many accounts ignore out of a sense of propriety. Two to Three stars.
