During the beginning of Lydia's pregnancy I devoured What to Expect, the Girlfriend's Guide, and nursing books, so when I got pregnant with Gloria I felt I should be reading up but wasn't interested in all (after all I was now an expert-haha). So I was pleased when my aunt gave me this book. It has several wonderful insights-the one I will keep closest to me is how we are offering our children hospitality, even our bodies (I wasn't all that excited about another year of nursing at first). I didn't participate in all of it-going over my own life story, dealing with deep stuff and healing (most of my pregnancy reading has been on the light side), but I really enjoyed slowly reading it over these past nine months and definitely recommend it.
