I absolutely loved how enchanting and realistic this book was. It's been compared to Eat Pray Love many times, but I think it's not only different but also better. The author makes it known, truthfully, that you can't have it all... travel, great house, love of your life... something must be sacrificed for the other. She does a great job of documenting her adventures around the world and relating them to her current situation. You want to travel with her or at least meet up for a great dinner or cup of coffee. The author, unlike others, seems down to earth, flawed, and lost, but she finds herself in her travels and realizes what life is really all about.
