Well, the first book Paranormalcy was a really great debut novel that took a fun spin on the conventions of a supernatural romance. But this sequel makes all the mistakes every reader fears in a sequel. #1. the first half of the book is spent on the love interesting doing boring things together, or moping about how they can't see each other. #2. A new character is introduced that trys to be funny but is really annoying, (also seems to has the same special hidden faery magic as the main character - so nothing new) #3. The same bad guys with the same motivation from the first book comes back. #4. The boyfriend gets made at the heroine for hiding things, and mistakes her hanging out with the annoying charater as a betrayel.

And that's where I stopped reading.
