Dan's Obsessions how did U find the book-- is it any good for comparative film study? ( since U Rthe only one that read it throught..)

I wiull probably go throught it in a majore bookstore in the following weeks, but I 'ld like yr view on this one inadvance!!

Kristine Interesting idea - looking at the influence of film noir (which I love) on contemporary cinema, I'm no scholar in this department but it just seemed a little light on. It did provide a whole new list of movies to add to my quickflix queue so I can't complain and I just loved the cover art. I guess it serves as more of an entree to the idea rather than fully developing it - I hope that helps Dan :)
