Another good Capitol Crimes series book from Margaret Truman. This involves a presidential hopeful Senator Keneth Ewald who's office staff memeber gets killed on the night of a political fund raiser at the Kenedy Center. The chief suspect is the senator's son who was having an affair with her. The Ewald family asks good friend and law professor Mac Smith to represent the family and make sure scandal is kept from the presidential hopeful. Mac Smtih takes it upon himself to try and find the real killer and for what reason he had for killing the staffer.
