it was amazing
bookshelves: cooking

This is probably my favourite of the Jamie Oliver cookbooks I own. It's certainly a cut above the casual meals in his 30 Minute Meals and Ministry of Food cook books but the recipes are still accessible to the home cook.
What's more there is plenty of information to help you improve your cooking skills and great appetising, full colour pictures of each recipe. The recipes emphasise fresh, healthy ingredients and they tend to be hearty and unpretentious meals.

I'd recommend this to someone who wants to improve their cooking skills. It would be a great book to cook from if you were having guests for dinner.

Standouts in this book in my opinion are the 15 chocolate brownies, roast rack of lamb, ultimate rib of beef, recipes for making pasta from scratch and recipes for making dressings and sauces from scratch. I also always find good ideas for interesting vegetable side dishes in this book.

A great addition to your cook book collection in my opinion!
